Fishing Reports January Fishing Report This January has been very difficult about weather conditions, we have had cold fronts, rough waves, windy conditions but if you check the world weather it means the Global warming is causing this unusual weather conditions, any way we have had a decent beginning of the year with many Big Bull head Maji Majis avg 20 pounds 120cms, the Sailfish were difficult to find but we have 1 great week and the total was 27 hooked up from 150cms up, the wahoos 30 pounds up were good at the first 3 weeks of Jan with 47 but after that time they disappeared, 2 white marlin out of season were release. An unusual catch out of season was a 300+ pound Blue Marlin that was lost in this part of the ocean and we hooked up. The Hump Back Whales are here from the first week of Jan so it is a plus to see this huge mammals in the water. Dorado/Maji - 97 Wahoo - 47 Sailfish - 27 White Marlin - 2 Blue Marlin - 1 Tigh lines my friends..!!! Capt. Mejia February Fishing Report February weather was very stable with waves 2-4 feet average and 95% sunny all month, this year we had Bull Head Majis Majis Schools right here from 3-5 miles offshore from 30 pounds to a almost record of 52 pounds (160cms), there were some sailfish in the area but very few and the white marlins were almost lost. Wahoos were also little but bigger than last year from 20 pounds up (90-100cms). Dorado/Maji - 157 Wahoo - 41 Sailfish - 15 White Marlin - 1 Blue Marlin - 0 Tigh lines my friends..!!! Capt. Mejia March Fishing Report April weather was the worst one in 15 years, tha cause many days off duty, as soon as we get back we found all billfish were nearer and bigger schools, maji majis were huge 50" to 65" , the White Marlins (Aguja Blanca) were here from 6 foot up, the wahoos we were waiting are not here yet..!!
